Last updated: September 23, 2026. This policy applies to the Avery's Forest Adventure iOS app and this website.
Avery's Forest Adventure is a single-player iOS game for kids. The app is designed with no ads, no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no custom game servers.
The app does not ask for a real name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
The app stores gameplay and settings data needed to run the game, including:
This data is used only to keep game progress working.
Avery's Forest Adventure can use Apple's iCloud key-value store to sync progress between a player's iPhone and iPad using the same Apple ID. Apple provides and controls iCloud. We do not run a separate sync server for the game.
The full game unlock is processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store payment card details. The app records only the entitlement needed to unlock levels 6-25.
If you contact us through the support form, we collect the information you submit: name, email, topic, device model, iOS version, and message. This is used to answer the request, investigate bugs, and manage support.
The support form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam and an SMTP mail provider to deliver messages. Basic web server logs, such as IP address, browser details, and timestamps, may also be recorded by the hosting provider.
This website (not the app) uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it, but only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner. Until you do, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. When enabled, Google Analytics may process technical information such as IP address, browser, device, and pages visited, and this processing may involve transfers outside the UK and the European Economic Area. We do not sell personal data.
The website uses one strictly necessary cookie, ffa_cookie_consent, which remembers your cookie choice for six months. It does not require consent.
Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*, kept for up to two years) are only set if you accept analytics. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page or the button below; withdrawing removes the analytics cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Our legal basis under UK and EU data protection law (UK GDPR and the EU GDPR) for Google Analytics is your consent. Analytics data is retained according to the applicable Google Analytics settings.
The app is intended for children and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children inside the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the support form, contact us and we will delete it where appropriate.
You can reset local app progress from inside the app. You can also contact support to request deletion of support messages connected to your email address.
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, or request a copy of it, using the contact details below. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or, if you are in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
If the app or website changes in a way that materially affects privacy, this policy will be updated on this page.
